WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) twelve (12)passenger
van for the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Knapp Chevrolet, Inc. of Houston, Texas submitted a bid in the
amount of $14,687.00 for one (1) 1993 Chevrolet passenger van; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Knapp
Chevrolet is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Knapp Chevrolet of Houston, Texas in the amount of $14,687.00
for the purchase of one (1) 1993 Chevrolet passenger van, be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1992.
