RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to grant a 2% lump sum payment to
City employees. The payment would provide for all regular full-time civilian employees,
exclusive of Police and Fire Department personnel covered by labor contracts, to receive a lump
sum payment equivalent to 2% of their annual base salary on October 1, 1992.
Employees with less than one year of employment will be eligible for the lump sum
payment on their anniversary date. Those employees who are out on worker's compensation
and/or leave of absence without pay that are not receiving checks will not be eligible to receive
the payment until they return to work.
