WHEREAS, a bid was received for the purchase of one (1) front end loader
tractor for use by the Water Utilities, Water Reclamation Division; and,
WHEREAS, Oil City Tractors, Inc. submitted a bid in the in the amount of
$24,909.00 for one (1) Ford Model 345D tractor loader; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Oil City
Tractors, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors, Inc. in the amount of $24,909.00 for one (1)
front end loader tractor for use by the Water Utilities, Water Reclamation Division, be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
