RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) diesel powered excavator
for the Water Utilities, Water Distribution Division; and,
WHEREAS, Con-Equip, Inc. of Houston, Texas submitted a bid in the amount of
$126,174.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Con-Equip, Inc.
is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Con-Equip, Inc. of Houston, Texas in the amount of $126,174.00
for a 1993 Link-Belt Model LS-3400C II excavator for the Water Utilities, Water Distribution
Division, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
