RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the City Manager to enter into a contract with
G & G Enterprises in the amount of $28,230.00, to construct a 30 ft. x 36 ft. addition to the
storage building at the No. 1 Fire Station; and,
WHEREAS, during the course of the project it was discovered that there were
deficiencies in the original structure which prevented the present contractor from connecting the
new addition to the existing structure; and,
WHEREAS, it is requested that Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $2,350.00 be
approved for correction of deficiencies in the existing structure;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 2 in
the amount of $2,350.00 to correct deficiencies in the existing structure of the No. 1 Fire
Station in order to construct a 30 ft. x 36 ft. addition to the storage building increasing the total
contract amount to $33,232.00.
