RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one 3/4 ton carry all vehicle
for the Fire Department as a second responder unit; and,
WHEREAS, Knapp Chevrolet, Inc. of Houston submitted a bid in the amount
of $22,987.00 for the purchase of one 3/4 ton carry all vehicle for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Knapp
Chevrolet, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Knapp Chevrolet, Inc. of Houston in the amount of$22,987.00 for
one 3/4 ton carry all vehicle for the Fire Department as a second responder unit, be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
