RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing materials, equipment, supervision and
labor for renovations to the William A. Smith Health Center Building at 950 Washington
Boulevard; and,
WHEREAS, Constructors and Fabricators, Inc. of Orange, Texas submitted a bid in the
amount of $205,814.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Constructors and
Fabricators, Inc. is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Constructors
and Fabricators, Inc. of Orange, Texas in the amount of$205,814.00 for furnishing materials,
equipment, supervision and labor for renovations to the William A. Smith Health Center
Building at 950 Washington Boulevard, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
