HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 92-223 9,Z- oZo23 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on November 12, 1991, the City Council authorized the execution of a contract with Naztec, Inc. for the purchase of a computer signal system for downtown Beaumont at a cost of $418,850.00. The contract with Naztec provided that the City could purchase additional items as needed for a period of five (5) years; and, WHEREAS, the total quantities and costs are as follows: Description Qty. Unit Cost —]—Total Cost Traffic Controllers 7 $ 2,250.00 $ 15,750.00 Controller Cabinets 6 $ 2,800.00 $ 16,800.00 Conflict Monitors 7 $ 650.00 $ 4,550.00 it TOTAL $ 37,100.00 The unit cost of the items noted above have remained fixed. These are the same prices that were quoted in Naztec's original proposal. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized to purchase additional equipment at the prices quoted above to be installed at seven ( ) outlying intersections.
