WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of twenty-four hundred (2400)
cubic feet of anthracite coal to be used in the filtering process for potable water at the City's
Water Production Plant; and,
WHEREAS, Carbonite Filter Corporation of Delano, Pennsylvania submitted a
bid in the in the amount of $12,480.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Carbonite
Filter Corporation is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Carbonite Filter Corporation of Delano, Pennsylvania in the amount
of $12,480.00 for the purchase of twenty-four hundred (2400) cubic feet of anthracite coal for
use in the filtering process for potable water at the City's Water Production Plant, be accepted
by the City of Beaumont. j
