RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of four (4) flail mowers for use
by the Parks Maintenance and Water Reclamation Divisions; and,
WHEREAS, Oil City Tractors, Inc. of Beaumont submitted a bid in the amount
of $2,785.00 each for a total of $11,140.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Oil City
Tractors, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors, Inc. of Beaumont for the purchase of four (4) flail
mowers for use by the Parks Maintenance and Water Reclamation Divisions in the amount of
$2,785.00 each for a total of $11,140.00, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1992.
