RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing and installing one electric power system
for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Gulf Coast Electric Company, Inc. of Beaumont submitted a bid in the
amount of $40,600.00 with a two year warranty period on the generator and a one year
warranty period on the installation work; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Gulf Coast Electric
Company, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Gulf Coast Electric Company, Inc. for furnishing and installing one
electric power system for the Fire Department in the amount of $40,600.00 with a two year
warranty period on the generator and a one year warranty period for the installation work, be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the jr day of
1992.
