RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on March 5, 1991 the City Council of the City of Beaumont awarded
Contract II Water and Sewer Improvements, to John Bankston Construction & Equipment
Rental, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 has been created to adjust "as-built" quantities,
provide compensation for extra work necessary to complete the project and to adjust the
contract's time period. Change Order No. 1 increases the original contract amount from
$684,706.00 to $733,491.04, a 7% increase;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No. 1 with
John Bankston Construction & Equipment Rental, Inc. and that in accordance with the terms
of the contract the job is hereby accepted and final payment in the amount of $51,122.40 is
authorized to be paid to John Bankston Construction & Equipment Rental, Inc.
