WHEREAS, on March 5, 1991 the City Council of the City of Beaumont awarded a
contract in the amount of$3,299,161.19 for the construction of Improvements to College Street,
Goliad to Main; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 6 has been created in the amount of $281,779.90 to
adjust the estimated quantities to reflect quantities actually used in completing the project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No. 6 with
Russ Miller Construction Company for a contract price increase of $281,779.90 and that in
accordance with the terms of the contract the job is hereby accepted and final payment in the
amount of $268,325.45 is authorized to be paid to Russ Miller Construction Company.
