RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to approve the purchase from IBM
Corporation of Beaumont one (1) D60 hardware upgrade for City Hall in the amount of
$231,595.00, one (1) D60 system software upgrade for City Hall in the amount of$55,455.00,
and an annual maintenance contract of $5,961.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to approve the purchase from IBM Corporation of Beaumont, one (1) D35 hardware upgrade
for the Police Department in the amount of$71,205.00, one (1) D35 system software upgrade
for the Police Department in the amount of $2,146.00 and an annual maintenance contract of
$2,796.00. The total expenditure for these system upgrades will be $369.158.00.
