R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on August 1, 1990, the City Council of the City of
Beaumont awarded a contract in the amount of $846,256. 30 to BO-
MAC Contractors, Inc. for the reconstruction of various streets
throughout the City; and,
WHEREAS, included in the project was a process in which
several streets would be reconstructed; and,
WHEREAS, due to the favorable bids received on all projects,
the design for streets within this project were re-evaluated,
necessitating Change Order No. 1, attached hereto as Exhibit "A",
increasing the contract by $190,418. 00 to $1, 036, 674.86;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager, be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute
Change Order No. 1, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", increasing the
contract by $190,418 . 00 to $1, 036, 674.86 to BO-MAC Contractors,
Inc. for the reconstruction of various streets throughout the City
of Beaumont.
