RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on March 20, 1990, the City Council of The City of Beaumont awarded
a Contract I, to Pitt-Des Moines, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 has been created to adjust the contract amount for the
extra work of installing temporary power to operate a Federal Aviation Administration
Obstruction light on top of the elevated storage tank during construction, and to adjust the
contract's construction time period;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No. 1, with
Pitt-Des Moines, Inc. to adjust the contract amount for the extra work of installing temporary
power to operate a Federal Aviation Administration Obstruction light on top of the elevated
storage tank during construction and that in accordance with the terms of the contract, the job
is hereby accepted and final payment in the amount of $6,100.00 is authorized to be paid to
Pitt-Des Moines, Inc.
