WHEREAS bids were received for the purchase of one (1) truck mounted with a
telescopic aerial device for use by the Public Works Department, Transportation Division; and,
WHEREAS, Wickersham Ford of Orange submitted a bid in the amount of$37,234.00
for a 1993 Chevrolet HD 3500 mounted with an Arm Lift Aerial device; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Wickersham Ford
is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Wickersham Ford of Orange for the purchase of one (1) 1993
Chevrolet HD 3500 mounted with an Arm Lift Aerial device in the amount of $37,234.00 for
use by the Public Works Department, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the 9&,t
day of 1992.
