RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing labor, equipment, materials and necessary
supplies for improvements at six (6) area City parks; and,
WHEREAS, Watkins Construction Company of Beaumont submitted a bid in the amount
of $335,015.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Watkins
Construction Company is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Watkins Construction Company of Beaumont in the amount of
$335,015.00 for furnishing labor, equipment, materials and necessary supplies for improvements
at six (6) area City parks, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the/ day
of 1992.
