WHEREAS, proposals have been received for computer software for the Police
Department; and,
WHEREAS, an analysis of the proposals and on-site visits have convinced the Police and
MIS Departments that software proposed by A. L. Roark Software Systems should be selected
for the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Computer Aided Dispatch Software and the Integrated Records Management
Systems Software and necessary data conversion, modifications and travel and training are
proposed for purchase in fiscal year 1992;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City hereby accepts the proposal of A. L. Roark Software Systems in the amount
of $149,000.00 for Computer Aided Dispatch Software and Integrated Records Management
Systems Software, $8,000.00 for modifications and data conversion at $95.00 per hour. Data
conversion is estimated to cost $3,000.00.
