BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract with "People
Organized for Excellence in Education" to provide $17,000 in Community Development Block
Grant Funds for a Texas Academic Assessment Skills preparation course for at risk second
graders of the Beaumont Independent School District to begin on June 8, 1992.
