WHEREAS bids were received for an annual contract to purchase 5 sack ready mix
concrete for the Street and Drainage Department and the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, Transit Mix Concrete Company of Beaumont submitted a bid in the amount
of $52.00 per cubic yard with an addition or deduction of $4.00 per sack depending on its
use; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Transit Mix
Concrete Company is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Transit Mix Concrete Company of Beaumont for an annual contract
to purchase 5 sack ready mix concrete in the amount of$52.00 per cubic yard with an addition
or deduction of $4.00 per sack depending on its use, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the day of
1992.
