BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the honorary position of Emeritus Commissioner of the Historical Landmark Commission
is hereby established as a lifetime non-voting membership to be conferred by the City Council
in recognition of outstanding service; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that John H. Walker is hereby appointed as the first Emeritus
Commissioner of the Historical Landmark Commission.
