WHEREAS, on September 17, 1991, the City Council of the City of Beaumont
authorized the City Manager to enter into a contract with E. R. Dupuis Concrete Company of
Beaumont in the amount of$125,212.20 for construction of the Crockett Street Parking Plaza;
and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 and 2 increased the contract amount to $138,972.20.
Change Order No. 3 has been created to reduce the contract amount by $2,884.33 to reflect
quantities actually used in constructing this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute Change Order No. 3 with
E. R. Dupuis Concrete Company for a decreased contract price of $136,087.87; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
make final payment in the amount of $11,046.70 to E. R. Dupuis Concrete Company.
