BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby authorizes the intervention of the City of Beaumont in the
pending Gulf States Utilities Fuel Reconciliation Case before the Public Utilities Commission
of Texas, the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to retain Don Butler as an attorney
and Diversified Utility Consultants, Inc. as utility consultants in conjunction with a consortium
of other Texas cities in the Gulf States Utilities service area to represent the City of Beaumont
in the Fuel Reconciliation Case.
