RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of the Cartwright Drainage
Project; and,
WHEREAS, Russ Miller Construction Co., Inc. submitted a bid in the amount
of $8,920,589.50; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Russ Miller
Construction Co., Inc. is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Russ Miller Construction Co., Inc. in the amount of$8,920,589.50
is hereby accepted and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Russ
Miller Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of the Cartwright Drainage Project.
