WHEREAS bids were received for restoration of the KCS Depot; and,
WHEREAS, Jleeco Builders submitted a base bid in the amount of $98,909.00
and a bid on alternate #1 in the amount of $2,100.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Jleeco
Builders is the lowest responsible bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Jleeco Builders in the amount of $101,009.00 for base bid and alternate #1
is hereby accepted and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Jleeco
Builders for restoration of the KCS Depot.
