WHEREAS, the City Council has discussed the facts of the judgment for damages
of Excavators and Constructors, Inc. in an Executive Session properly called and held; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorized the settlement of the underpayment
portion of the judgment entered in the law suit involving Excavators and Constructors, Inc.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the underpayment portion of
the judgment entered in the lawsuit involving Excavators and Constructors, Inc. in the amount
of One Hundred Sixty Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($160,000.00).
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 74( day
of 1992.
