RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of limestone to be used by the Street
and Drainage Department for repairs and maintenance of City streets; and,
WHEREAS, Transit Na Concrete & Materials Company of Beaumont submitted a bid
in the amounts as following:
F.O.B. JOBSITE
ZONE 1 $11.80/ton
ZONE 2 $11.60/ton
ZONE 3 $11.60/ton
ZONE 4 $11.60/ton
F.O.B. PLANTSITE $10.75/ton
Last year's prices were:
F.O.B. JOBSITE
ZONE I $13.50/ton
ZONE 2 $12.50/ton
ZONE 3 $13.50/ton
ZONE 4 $12.50/ton
F.O.B. PLANTSITE $10.50/ton
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Transit Mix
Concrete & Materials Company is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:

THAT the bid submitted by Transit Mix Concrete & Materials Company in the amounts stated
above, be accepted by the City of Beaumont for the purchase of limestone to be used by the
Street and Drainage Department for repairs and maintenance of City streets.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the4�-day
of 1992.
