RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on April 9, 1991, City Council awarded a contract to Allco, Inc. for
installation of 25,000 feet of 20" water line along West Port Arthur Highway; and,
WHEREAS, since construction of the line the Federal Bureau of Prison has selected a
site south of the water line route to build a new correctional facility;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute Change Order No. 2, to
the contract between the City of Beaumont and Allco, Inc. for the installation of 702 feet of 20"
water line along West Port Arthur Highway to serve the State Prison currently under
construction and future development in the surrounding area.
