WHEREAS, bids were received for a contract to furnish laboratory testing
services for the Public Utilities/Water Reclamation's Wastewater Industrial Pretreatment
Program; and,
WHEREAS, Chemtex of Port Arthur, Texas submitted a bid in the amounts as
follows: _

WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Chemtex
of Port Arthur is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Chemtex of Port Arthur, Texas in the amounts stated above, be
accepted by the City of Beaumont for a contract to furnish laboratory testing services for the
Public Utilities/Water Reclamation's Wastewater Industrial Pretreatment Program.
