RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of four (4) diesel tractors for
the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Eastex Farm and Home of Beaumont submitted a bid in the amount
of $56,448.00 for the purchase of four (4) John Deere Model 2355 GP tractors; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Eastex
Farm and Home is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Eastex Farm and Home of Beaumont in the amount of$56,448.00
for the purchase of four (4) John Deere Model 2355 GP tractors for the Parks and Recreation
Department, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1992.
