WHEREAS, the City has contracted with First City Bank, Texas as a
depository for investment purposes; and,
WHEREAS, First City Bank, Texas wishes to release the following securities
with the Federal Reserve Bank - Dallas/Houston Branch, effective February 25, 1992:
RECEIPT NO. DESCRIPTION PAR VALUE
CUSIP No. 912827C83 U.S. Treasury Note,
Coupon 6.875, due
10/31/96 $600,000.00
and,
WHEREAS, First City Bank, Texas wishes to pledge the following security
with the Federal Reserve Bank - Dallas/Houston Branch, effective February 25, 1992:

CUSIP 912827D82 U. S. Treasury Note,
Coupon 4.875%, due
01/31/94 $650,000.00

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT First City Bank, Texas be permitted to pledge and release the above-described
securities and a certified copy of this resolution shall constitute the approval of such pledge
and release as evidence of the authority of said bank to make said pledge and release.
