RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, a bid was received for an annual contract to furnish street sweeping
services to be monitored by the Public Works, and Streets and Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, BFI Service Group, Inc. of Houston submitted a bid in the amounts
as follows:
CBD Streets $ 18.50 per curb mile
Arterial Streets $ 29.15 per curb mile
Scheduled Sweeping $.90.00 per hour
Unscheduled Sweeping $109.00 per hour
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted above is the
best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted above for an annual contract to furnish street sweeping services, be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
