WHEREAS bids were received to establish annual pricing for personal computers
of various configurations; and,
WHEREAS, Cornerstone Computer, Inc. submitted a bid in the amounts as
follows:

INCLUDING ONE
YEAR MANUFACTURER'S
DESCRIPTION WARRANTY
386 CPU, with a-80 Megabyte hard drive running at
20 Megahertz and VGA color monitor $ 1,295.00/ea.
386 CPU, with a 124 Megabyte hard drive running at
33 Megahertz and VGA color monitor $ 1,695.00/ea.
486 CPU, with a 124 Megabyte hard drive running at
33 Megahertz and VGA color monitor $ 2,045.00/ea.
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by
Cornerstone Computer, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Cornerstone Computer, Inc. in the amounts stated above for
twenty-five (25) personal computers, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
