RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of the fleet maintenance
software; and,
WHEREAS, Transportation Management Techniques, Inc. submitted a bid in the
amount of $25,000.00 for the software with the cost of the interface not to exceed $6,400.00,
plus an estimated cost of $4,670.00 for travel and training, for a total amount of $36,070.00;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by
Transportation Management Techniques, Inc. is the best bid meeting specification and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Transportation Management, Inc. for the fleet maintenance software
in the amount of $25,000.00 for the software with the cost of the interface not to exceed
$6,400.00, plus an estimated cost of$4,670.00 for travel and training, be accepted by the City
of Beaumont.
