RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont's Fire Department was granted approval in
this year's budget to purchase additional emergency vehicle priority control components; and,
WHEREAS, Consolidated Traffic Controls, Incorporated submitted a bid in the
amount of $48,700.00 for the Opticom Priority Control System to be installed at twelve (12)
intersection; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by
Consolidated Traffic Controls, Incorporated is the best bid meeting specifications and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Consolidated Traffic Controls, Incorporated in the amount of
$48,700.00 for the Opticom Priority Control System to be installed at twelve (12) intersections,
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
