BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney and the City Manager, be, and they are hereby authorized to take all
actions necessary, including litigation, to pursue the collection of amounts due the City of
Beaumont from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company arising from the underpayment of
franchise amounts.
