RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Kenneth E. Ruddy has donated property located between Forrest
and Cable, bordered by Caldwell and Spruce, Lots 1-12, Block 55 of the North Addition,
for the construction of new homes for low to moderate income families of the City; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of said donation and
is of the opinion that the acceptance of said donation of property is necessary and desirable
and that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to accept the donation of Kenneth
E. Ruddy of the property located between Forrest and Cable, bordered by Caldwell and
Spruce, Lots 1-12, Block 55 of the North Addition for the construction of new homes for
low to moderate income families of the City.
