RESOLUTION
WHEREAS bids were received for the purchase of approximately 120,000 pounds
of sodium bisulfite for use by the Water Reclamation Plant; and,
WHEREAS, Van Waters & Rogers of Beaumont submitted a bid in the amount
of $0.1045 per pound; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Van Waters
& Rogers is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Van Waters & Rogers of Beaumont for the purchase of
approximately 120,000 pounds of sodium bisulfite in the amount of$0.1045 per pound for use
by the Water Reclamation Plant, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the dlg-
day of 1992.
