RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on July 31, 1991, the City Council of the City of Beaumont authorized the
City Manager to enter into a contract with W. B. Construction, Inc. of Beaumont in the amount
of $364,554.00 for construction of Drainage Improvements for East Caldwood; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $1,015.00 and Change Order No.
2 in the amount of $43,050.00 increased the contract amount to $408,619.00. Change Order
No. 3 has been created to reduce the contract amount by $665.85 to adjust estimated quantities
to reflect quantities actually used in completing the project. A final contract price of
$407,953.15 will result from this adjustment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute Change Order No. 3 with
W. B. Construction, Inc. for a decreased contract price of $407,953.15; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
make final payment in the amount of $16,466.09 to W. B. Construction, Inc.
