RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on June 11, 1991, City Council awarded a contract to Ace Clark
Company for the Wuthering Heights Park Improvements Project in the amount of $43,307.00;
and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is being requested to cover additional asphalt
for the newly constructed driveway and approximately 422' of additional nature trail in the
amount of $4,555.00; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 will result in an increase in the contract amount
to $47,862.00; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed by the Contractor and inspected by
city staff and is in conformance with the plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 in
the amount of $4,555.00 to the contract between the City of Beaumont and Ace Clark
Company for the Wuthering Heights Park Improvements Project; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to accept the project and make final payment to Ace Clark Company in the amount
of $7,497.93 for the Wuthering Heights Park Improvements Project.
