WHEREAS bids were received to furnish a six month contract for the purchase
of cement stabilized sand for use by the Water Department in repairing water line and meter
box areas; and,
WHEREAS, APAC-Texas, Inc. of Beaumont submitted a bid in the amount of
$8.25 per ton; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by APAC-
Texas, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by APAC-Texas, Inc. of Beaumont to furnish a six month contract for
the purchase of cement stabilized sand in the amount of $8.25 per ton for use by the Water
Department for repairing water line and meter box areas, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the
