RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) four (4) cubic yard
capacity loader to be used by the Solid Waste Management Department; and,
WHEREAS, Stewart and Stevenson Services, Inc. of Beaumont submitted a bid
in the amount of $101,335.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Stewart and
Stevenson Services, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Stewart and Stevenson Services, Inc. of Beaumont for the purchase
of one (1) four (4) cubic yard capacity loader in the amount of $101,335.00 to be used by the
Solid Waste Management Department, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
