BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT a plan proposed by the City Manager to improve the response time for Emergency
Medical Services be, and it is hereby, approved to include: a) Recruitment and training of the
additional personnel necessary to provide a third responding ambulance unit; b) Acquisition of
the additional ambulance with the necessary equipment; and, c) Expenditure of$150,000 from
the Contingent Appropriation for operating costs.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day
