HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 91-314 I RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on October 28, 1991, bids were received for an annual contract to purchase incandescent and fluorescent lamps and ballasts for City facilities; and, WHEREAS, Warren Electric of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid for lamps in the amounts listed below: F40 CW 48" fluorescent lamp - ` approximate annual usage of 9,000 $ .68/each lamps i F96 T 12 CWX 96" fluorescent lamp - approximate annual usage $ 2.84/each of 1,500 lamps © lXC7TI .:.:::._::. ::........::::::::.....:::: Sylvania Lamps, Depending on 38.5% Catalogue 26.2% Whereas, Graybar Electric of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid for ballasts in the amounts listed below: ................. < « R-2540-TP Mark III Advance ballast - 120 volt approximate $ 10.48/each annual usage of 50 V-2540-TP Mark III Advance ballast - 277 volt approximate $ 10.96/each annual usage of 25 SM-2E75-TP Mark III Advance ballast - 96" 120 volt approximate $ 17.62/each annual usage of 25 and, I L WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by Warren Electric for lamps and Graybar Electric for ballasts are the lowest and best bids submitted and should be accepted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the bids submitted by Warren Electric for lamps and Graybar Electric for ballasts be accepted by the City of Beaumont in the amounts listed above for an annual contract to purchase incandescent and fluorescent lamps and ballasts for City facilities.
