WHEREAS bids were received for liquid polymer flocculent for use by the Water
Reclamation Division of the Water Utilities Department in the dewatering of municipal
biological waste sludge; and,
WHEREAS, Calgon Corporation of Pittsburgh, Pa. submitted a bid in the amount
of $0.148/lb; and,
WHEREAS, City'Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Calgon
Corporation of Pittsburgh, Pa. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Calgon Corporation of Pittsburgh, Pa. for liquid polymer flocculent
for use by the Water Reclamation Division of the Water Utilities Department in the dewatering
of municipal biological waste sludge at a price of $0.148/lb, be accepted by the City of
-Beaumont.
