RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of manhole covers, frames and
extensions that will be utilized by the Sewer Maintenance, Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, Coburn's of Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the amount of
$15,734.20 with a 2% prompt payment discount; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Coburn's
is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Coburn's of Beaumont in the amount of $15,734.200 for the
purchase of manhole covers, frames, and extensions that will be utilized by the Sewer
Maintenance, Water Utilities Division, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1991.
