WHEREAS bids were received for an annual contract to furnish pest control
services for City facilities; and,
WHEREAS, Mike Harrell's Pest Control submitted a bid in the amount of
$1,542.00 per month, for a total annual cost of $18,504.00, with treatment for fleas on an as
needed basis at a cost of $55.00 per hour; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Mike
Harrell's Pest Control is the lowest bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mike Harrell's Pest Control for an annual contract to furnish pest
control for City facilities in the amount of $1,542.00 per month, for a total annual cost of
$18,504.00, with treatment of fleas on an as needed basis at a cost of $55.00 per hour, be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
