WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of approximately twenty-five
(25) water meters; and,
WHEREAS, International Supply, Lufkin, Texas, Sensus Technologies, Inc.,
Uniontown, Pa., and Kent Meters, Inc., Ocala, Florida, submitted bids per unit price and trade-
in value in the amounts as follows:

In addition to the purchase of the water meters, one (1) remote digital reader in the amount of
$750.00 is required for the reading of Kent Meters; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted above are the
best bids meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted above for the purchase of approximately twenty-five (25) water
meters and one (1) remote digital reader, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
