RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No.
1 with Bo-Mac Contractors, Inc. on the 1991 Street Rehabilitation Program - Reconstruction
and Overlay Project. The proposed change order will provide for reimbursement of sale taxes
paid on such items upon receipt of invoice showing payment of such taxes. The estimated
increase in the contract for this change order is $25,000.00, as shown on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto.

THE FOLLOWING CHANGES IN THE,PLANS ANDIOR SPEOFICATIONS ARE HEREBY MADE:
1 Delete Section 6.8 Taxes and replace with Section 6.8 Taxes (Revised
10/91). Sales Tax paid by contractor for this project will be reimbursed,
upon receipt of invoices for sales tax paid as a result of 1 H.B. 11.
ORIGINAL CONRACT AMOUNT: $ 1,994,318.48
NET FROM PREVIOUS CHANGE ORDERS: $ -0-
TOTAL AMOUNT OF THIS CHANGE ORDER: $ 25,000.00 (Estimated)
PERCENT CHANGE PER THIS ORDER: 1.25%
TOTAL PERCENT CHANGE TO DATE: 1.25%
NEW CONTRACT AMOUNT: $ 2,019,318.48
CONTRACT TIME IS NOT AFFECTED BY THt3 ORDER.
